I wasn’t expecting a boob joke in a wholesome show 💀
You say that but your non-existent boobs are shaking
(But to be fair there has been a surprising amount of non-wholesome moments, just that Dou made it wholesome in the end).
First half:
The lore behind their in-universe Santa Claus is quite clever. I like how they start off from a base form - as Santa’s helpers - before evolving into full-fledged Santas. I wonder what’s the condition to trigger their evolution; perhaps to make a certain number of children happy?
Second half:
Dou reminded me of those kids presented with the trolley problem, but instead of optimising for minimum utility, she is actually trying for the best outcome (and succeeding at it!). This may be copium but maybe, just maybe, she won’t do too badly in a Takopi situation.
