Well time for a reality check: no one who made or cared about the elder scrolls still works at Bethesda. Cyrodill wasn’t supposed to be a generic European fantasy bore, but it was and Bethesda has only gotten worse since oblivion. By azura, I’m pretty sure no one left (in a management position at least) even cares about the fundamentals of writing and world building.
The Elder Scrolls 6 in the Summerset Isles would be cool, or so recently unearthed Daggerfall-era dev D&D notes have convinced me
