I thought this was a good article but of course he’s a journalist so he’s just documenting what’s going on rather than providing much of a solution (except the end paragraph where he slightly hints at the solution) so I’ll do my best to try helping with this instead of just talking about it.
One thing to remember is each day we make choices about how we spend our time including what media we consume. It’s very important to choose wisely and actively promote with your actions and also to other people media you believe is not captured and fearlessly tells the truth. Do things like avoid linking to bad news sources like Fox News and visit better media websites often and maybe even subscribe or donate if you really like something.
For media that is beginning to be captured we should put as much pressure on them as possible so the cost of kissing the ring is far greater than standing up.
