      Love how data tries to explain to the captain how the slip is completely normal, meanwhile the people around him that put that nugget in his brain are losing their shit.

  There's a difference between making your coworkers sword fight and having a nice hologram of a person. In datas case it would be like having a picture of her. And no one would complain about having a pic of someone like that.

    I’m pretty sure that’s the joke. After all, it isn’t like Data understands emotions at this point. I can totally see him going to Geordi or Picard and asking if it is wrong of him to still have that holo of Tasha if everyone is freaking out about Barclay’s program.
