Today’s game is some more Shadow of Mordor. I ended up beating the whole game today. I was going to go ahead and try to 100% it, but now that there’s no narrative left to consume all that motivation kind of drained away.
Still though, what i got was awesome. I’ve been sick today while playing it but still had a blast. Rocking up with your warchiefs to fight your rival was absolutely awesome. One of mine fell in battle but he was back later, which is weird. But you wont hear me complaining.
My Nemesis i guess ended up being some poor random guy i didn’t even recognize. He gave this big speech about how he’ll beat me this time and then i was just trying to figure out who he is.
After the boss battle to end the game i faced off against an orc i was tracking named Luga the Friendly. Turns out his name was a big fucking lie. Dude was not friendly. I tried to go up to him and dude attacked me. I wanted to brand him and make him a war chief but i accidentally killed the guy instead.
Afterwards there wasn’t much left for me there so i rode out of there on a Caragor to go do other stuff. The caragor mounts in this game are awesome and an absolute life saver. Makes getting around quicker and safer.
I ended off by starting the Bright Lord DLC, but i wasn’t feeling it by the second tower. It’s got some cool ideas, but i just couldnt get invested in it.
Overall, if i had to describe the game i’d go with “Short”. It felt over before i expected it to be. I think i might pick up the sequel at some point if i can just too experience it, i’ve heard it expands on everything in a better way.

Definitely give Shadow of War a shot if you liked Mordor.
