I’ve been reading “Ferns: Lessons in Survival From Earth's Most Adaptable Plants” by Fay-Wei Li this weekend.
It’s a deep dive into how these plants have survived for 400 million years and counting.
I feel like there will be some folks here on Mastodon who would adore this book. 🌱
@lydiaschoch @bookstodon They may have survived 400 M years but I rarely have good luck getting them to survive after I transplant them…never quite the right environment of moisture and shade LOL
