It felt risky upgrading my work PC to Linux, but I’m so thankful not to be dealing with this bullshit.
We did everything inside of WSL already, anyway.

Ouch. I’m in this picture, and I don’t like it. Haha.
Do they not have update test beds? I feel like this is such an important system they should have caught this. It’s not some obscure feature.
I remember reading somewhere that they used to have much more testing (including a room filled with hundreds of different computers) that they tested every update on. With Windows 10 they abolished that and switched to relying on telemetry. Which is obviously working great.
I mean, it’s working great for me. Im fully Linux as of yesterday, lol.
Have you said thank you even once?
Can someone actually explain to me why almost every Windows update this year has caused bluescreens? The first time this happened to my PC, I spent the better part of a day troubleshooting undetected memory because I genuinely never considered an official update would break my PC that badly.
I was hesitant to switch to Linux because I’m a student and can’t fiddle with my PC often, but I’m in the process of transitioning right now because of these fucking updates and AI implementation.

No support for Windows 10, still breaking things in Windows 11.
