Infamously grindy schooling in EA is even worse in Korea than it is in Japan or was in China before they clamped down. If students don’t make it into one of the top uni’s that’s it for their career.
Once people are in their 40’s it becomes extremely difficult to get hired and after 55 employers are legally allowed to being reducing peoples wages. Many seniors don’t qualify for pensions and live in poverty.
