There is a full report that covers all the events leading up to and post and it does not conclude that they let it happen.
Are we sure that Oct 7th was even done by Hamas? I saw a unsourced clip on twitter that said it was Mossad who orchestrated and executed it. It may as well have been since most of the deaths were caused by IDF anyway. I’m joking but I swear there are to many people on lemmy who genuinely believe that.

Said from the start, you cannot tell me that one of the best, if not the very best, intelligence groups on the planet did not see this coming a mile away. FFS, their raison d’etre is to guard against their neighbors.
