Neat how he slotted that right in to his worldview - Oura-san was the one he was interested in and concerned about, and she’s still the one he’s interested in and concerned about.
Waku continues to be my hero.

Neat how he slotted that right in to his worldview - Oura-san was the one he was interested in and concerned about, and she’s still the one he’s interested in and concerned about.
Waku continues to be my hero.
As a kid he’s way more mature than Kazuya from Rent-A-Chorizo.
It’s so simple too - he’s just not self-centered. He doesn’t fret about how much she might or might not like him or what it means or implies or any of that - he just knows that she depends on him to some notable degree, so his goal is to ensure that he’s there for her - that he’s as dependable as she needs him to be.
Amazing chapter. Love the way they handled her real identity.
Oh I just realized, the spoiler tag doesn't federate with lemmy
I’ll allow it! I do admit though that I am perhaps biased because I was the one that added that feature to Piefed.

this series hadn’t wowed me to this point but it’s a phenomenal chapter for sure
