Eh, not the way that I see it. Santana, Jamiroquai, Barry White, Donna Summer, Tame Impala, Death Grips etc. are/were very popular and it’s hard to deny their artistic quality. Same with movies like Terminator, Rocky, Alien, The Godfather…
