Spray painting a few planes is an EXTREMELY measured response to your government participating in a genocide IMO.
The government response is eerily similar to how the IDF reacts to anything resembling resistance in Palestine when it comes to proportionality.
That was, in hindsight, not a wise thing to do I think. Definitely gave the UK government an excuse to do something they wanted to do anyway.
By that logic, the wisest thing to do is stay home and write strongly worded letters…which will accomplish absolutely nothing.
If you want to affect any sort of real change, it’s often the case that things get worse before they get better; some sacrifices have to be made.
Also consider what this crackdown does to the UK government’s soft power and legitimacy in the eyes of the people.
