  Ngl, when I saw Soyface I thought it was the next racial outrage like blackface, like an white person turning up to a party pretending to be Chinese or something.

    Honestly, speaking academically, it does read better than ‘yellowface’ for this exact kind of thing. But then I’m also somewhat worried it would be insensitive in itself.
