The significance of the discovery goes beyond the academic field, as the second research campaign on the shipwreck received financial support from Sunk Costs Productions, which together with Sikelia Productions — the company of acclaimed director Martin Scorsese — is working on the documentary Shipwreck of Sicily.

That sounds like a cool project, I’m going to have to keep an eye out for that.
