Here is where the marvel type banter starts. Right now it’s relatively tame since they only met recently but it is only getting worse from here. Great for everyone that likes this type of banter, bad for everyone else.

Novel reader here too. Was surprised when there was no side note to explain why he was so against the empire.
Also, they are doing my beloved characters dirty. Ryo I could understand a bit better with his gift, but Abel shouldn’t look like a teen.
Also, the fights have been pretty much underwhelming. At this point I fear watching the exchange against Oscar. 🥺

Just started reading the novel since ep1 aired. I’m in the 400s now. Not bad overall but Ryo does get annoying with his mindset.
