Studio Khara, renowned for the Evangelion series, has announced a brand-new short anime celebrating the 20th anniversary of Moyoco Anno’s manga Sugar Sugar Rune. Titled SUGAR SUGAR RUNE Les deux sorcières, the short film was revealed on July 4 during a stage event at JAPAN EXPO in Paris, France. The event also marked the surprise announcement that a full anime adaptation of Sugar Sugar Rune is now officially in production. ……
