Seems like Köinzell got his purpose in life back.
Fargo had one job: kill a sound-asleep demihuman. But he managed to get sidetracked by his hatred of all of them and started killing the wrong ones AND got unmasked AND got witnessed.
He put up such a good face before though that no one believed Peepi that Köinzell was not the bad guy there. And now Octopus Head will go after Köinzell for that.
I hope at least Effi will believe and not go “Köinzell killed my parents”? We just finished that arc from Aht.

Anemone finally got introduced to the party.
Now that Kenichi’s magic(?) is out in the open he will probably gain the attention of nobles he didn’t want.

Köinzell lost his hope, but Wied needed his help. They found an unexpected ally in the Octopus Head Fairy.
There is some mention of Köinzell’s feats before the start of the show, which might be shown later? Or are they just going to rush forward?

Interesting it is someone else, not the main character, spreading the hand pump, mayonnaise, and double-entry bookkeeping. I checked episode one again, Kenichi was never told why he was transferred to this world and now it is revealed that there is at least another person who was transferred to the empire. Random or on purpose?
Kenichi was wise trying not to attract attention from the nobles, but I suspect they’ll find him eventually as is usual in these isekai stories.
Primula the rich merchant’s daughter is going on a trip and some bandits got offered a job. Sounds suspicious……

They went to some lengths to hand-wave “this is slavery but they are really contractors with a conscionable contract, just unbreakable”.
They went quite liberal with skipping. The comment from Takumi about Maria was confusing even after he explained it. But in the manga

Maria mistook Takumi’s workshop (which was very untidily kept) to be the house’s garbage dump and dumped bags and bags of garbage in it
it was quite a bit more humorous.
So Sidonia is looking more and more like the villain of the show. It’ll still be some months till the others are summoned but we got a glimpse of what will happen with them. Let’s hope they’ll not fall prey to the evil princess.

I like both the web novel and the manga. The novel is pretty long (17 Japanese LN volumes at the moment) so I expect this anime to just scratch the surface of the story (not that it has so much depth though, just a normal power fantasy).
That Takumi started to make his fortune by making washing toilets is amusing and I liked that it gave us a glimpse of the QoL of the fantasy world, but it might get him into trouble because light magic was monopolized by the church.

I’ve watched so many isekai shows recently that this fast forward through the explanation of how Kenichi got isekai’d and going straight into building the new world felt somewhat welcome, though it might not be too friendly to people new to the genre.
Kenichi wasn’t OP at fighting but his skill gave him apparently quite favorable exchange rates for those other world coins so he’ll be able to survive as a merchant. There wasn’t much in the plot that felt gripping immediately.

We got the Akitsuakane reveal, she called Sunraku sanpai which worried Rei a bit, but to her relief she just met him once in BERP. She was quite an achiever though, got marked by one of the Seven Colossi and arrived at the high-level area where Sunraku was while still being level 43.
Sunraku figured out one of Lycagon’s secrets this episode and seemed to have some trick up his sleeve with Suzaku. 3 episodes (and continuing) for a fight feels long, but I guess they are giving Lycagon a fight a Colossus deserves.
