Is the share button on pixeled does nothing

I created a secondary Pixelfed account to test the share functionality, but none of the posts I’ve shared from my main account are showing up in the new account’s feed.

if your two accounts are on different instance, federation takes a while, your follow signales to your instance to synchronize the content from the other account, and it’s not instantaneous, it’s queued along the requests of everyone else on your instance.

That may be a federation issue. Are both account on the same instance?

    Try again after following the account that post. Having someone from your instance following a remote user is the best way to insure proper federation of content in the fediverse.
