I saw a post yesterday about chemtrails and everybody poopooed the thought of secret civilian chemical testing by the US government.

Unfortunately, the Church committee, the 1975 senate committee that outed the US intelligence agencies and US military for their human rights abuses against US civilians and military personnel, received direct testimony from those agencies conducting the experiments that various branches of the US government, without notification or consent, absolutely and admittedly conducted live civilian experiments with harmful chemical, biological and radiological agents and weapons via sea, land and air, beginning at the very latest in the early 1940s and continuing for at least 30 testing years, supposedly ending in the late 1970s after the experiments were exposed by the 1975 Senate committee chaired by Frank Church.

    I’m not asking you to distort anything. I’m asking you to tell me where in your sources it supports you when you said this:

    Because what I read is another, much less dangerous bacteria was spread to study how spreading happened. And we can tell, too, because tons of people didn’t die, and weapons are for killing people. Make sense? Or you can just admit that you’ve been subtly twisting the truth to suit your ends.

  you can check the PBS article, or one of the other dozen articles the summary on Wikipedia is based on, or read the linked 1976 Senate hearing testimonies yourself.

    Dumb. Doesn’t back up “chemtrails” you’re trying to generalize this too much, yes they have conducted tests seemingly to verify how the spread of such weapons could occur. None directly harmful. Chemtrails as a clickbait has a much more sinister connotation. And none of these sources are much more than validation studies

Read the linked articles, they are not long. A small handful of cases are being carefully exaggerated in the post body to make it seem like a much broader problem.

The following claims are unsupported by the links:

while chemical and biological agents were dropped by air hundreds of times

chemical and biological weapons and toxins were also sprayed over dozens of US cities without notification or consent via Operation sea spray and related operations

These fairly obvious lies aside, the badly cropped image and the “supposedly ending” should be a dead giveaway that this person is being manipulative. 4/10 misinformation post. Not the worst work I’ve seen op, but kinda meh. I’m sure you can do better.
