I’m sure I’ve seen these before, but so far as I can tell they have been taken over by an educational company, as you said. Shame.
I’m saving this post though, if I spot any of these I’ll shoot you a message, but I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Thanks! I already scoured eBay to see if I can find one or even something similar but nothing…
It would be so cool to see another one of them.
Looks like something that might have sold in Australian geographic back in the day
Could be; looking at their webstore they definitely sell similar stuff but nothing Aboriginal as far as I can tell.
Actually I used to have a Kookaburra hand puppet similar to one they’re selling but mine was of better quality for sure… Unfortunately that one was lost to time
Is it filled with sand? Reminds me of a sand filled one but they were usually more gecko shaped

Can we actually talk about that Techniks M205? Now that is a collectible.

I haven’t used it much since getting my “new” (1980s) harmon/kardon HIFI stack together. I’ve actually tried to sell it for a good while now… do you want it?

I do. However, hifi gear is not in my world right now. I’m rocking some Yamaha gear at home, and a Harmon Kardon stack sounds awesome. Love my Yamaha. Warm sound. Nice tactile feel.
Anyway… I’m daydreaming audio gear. Back to work!
