UK should have an “exit tax” like Australia and Canada. The UK is an international outlier in not charging Capital Gains Tax (CGT) on wealthy people who leave the country

Unfortunately the reason it won’t happen. Is it will be seen as also an entrance tax.

The rich DO love slurping up all of our money and then living somewhere else where they don’t have to pay any tax.
