    so invidious now has a red logo? jk, but I’m finding it nearly impossible to find a working instance anymore. and if i do find one, it’s gone the next day :(

      I had stopped using it for the same reason. I think this new initiative is a way to make it easier, but as you say, consistency is the other issue.

      Nadekos instances (inv.nadeko.net) is usually fine for whenever I need to watch YouTube. I imagine self hosting it would be more stable but I haven’t had the time to set it up yet.

        self hosting is the recommended way, but it seems difficult and i don’t have time to dive that deep
