I’ve been dealing with constant issues with the Pulse Elite headset since I bought them last year. I’m going to send them for repair, but I’m going to buy something new and looking for suggestions.
What headsets are you using?
Never buy “gaming” audio gear. Audio is the same no matter what you use it for. Buy something in the $100 price range marketed for audio production. Sennheiser is usually good.
But what about the microphone for gaming?
Audio companies sell headsets with mics too
Whats your budget?
Between $100-$200, but I’m flexible for good quality and ease of use. I spent $150 on this piece of crap, so I guess that’s my budget lol
I can personally recommend the Astro a50s and the Audeze Maxwell, but both of those are going to approach the $300 mark. You can also explore cheaper Astro headsets like the a30s but i havent had any experience with those
That’s what I have. Think they’re Sennheisers gaming brand. Been pretty happy with them.
They are wired only right? How do you connect them to the PS5, through the controller?

I use the arctis nova 7x wireless which I like, have good reviews, and are good for the price. Can’t speak much to other options but Rtings has reviews of headsets if you want to research there

Do you use them with XBox or PlayStation? Looks like they do brand specific ones, can’t tell if it’s just a color thing or actual compatibility.

I use them with both. Xbox is the odd one out. If you get the nova 7 or nova 7P, they’ll work with everything except Xbox (I think). The 7x works with everything including Xbox
