  Those pardoned include Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys chairman, who faced a sentence of 22 years in prison for seditious conspiracy. Tarrio’s attorney told the Associated Press he expects Tarrio to face release Monday evening.

  This is wonderful because he

  • Wasn’t even there
  • Is only guilty to writing a silly manifesto about illegally & peacefully occupying the Capitol and demanding a recount or another election
  • Content was completely non-violent; mentioned ‘hype men!’, never mentioned guns

      True, but writing up a plan for an illegal sit-in where they explicitly said they might have to pull fire alarms is not 22 years in jail bad.

  Earlier I made the prediction that Mr. Trump wouldn’t pardon anyone from J6, as they had outran their usefulness to him.
