Unpopular opinion but I was underwhelmed by This is how You Lose the Time War.
Prose too flowery. Blue and Red are virtually interchangeable as narrators. Plot structure is overly repetitive. Sci fi elements underwhelming. It wasn’t bad but with so much hype I expected much more @bookstodon

I’ve read it. I don’t remember anything about it. I guess that says all there is to say about it from my point of view.

But when I realised it was - something else, I quite enjoyed it as a silly story, a romantic time travel story? I don't know, I think it fails to fit in a simple genre, which makes it hard to appreciate.
Not living up to the hype, agree. But an OK story.
