    Good for these people.

    Apparently the faction that took Aleppo is also an Islamist terrorist group - with the US, the EU and Russia all agreeing on that.

    I don’t know if there are any better factions to take a win than them though, at least they don’t use chemical weapons on civilians or blow up things in other parts of the world, they just want a theocratic state which is just as bad as any other theocratic regime. Did I get that right?

    And is peace closer now?

      I would take that terror designation with a huge dose of salt.

      I’m not going to write the history of terror groups designations, but what we got here is a very complex fluid situation

      Worst case scenario: More war between SNA, HST and SDF

      Less worse scenario: Iran like country

      Better case scenario: Iraq (“Democracy”, but not rlly)

      Best case fantasy scenario: Elections are called. A government forms that is organised something like AANES. Oil resources are exploited, due to which wealth goes into public hands rather than a few capitalists. Everybody lives happily ever after.
