- Comment on Can I lose a beer belly working out one day a week? 7 hours ago:
I think the conventional wisom is diet is more important than exercise in losing weight, although I think most people would recommend working out once a week regardless if you would lose weight or not, basically any working out would be positive if you aren’t at all, it couldn’t hurt to do sit ups and push ups and see where that takes you.

I disagree with your definition of original source. If AP writes an article, then Yahoo news takes that article and attributes it to the AP and links to the AP article, and publishes it, that yahoo news article does not become the original source the AP article is the origanal source.
In the case we are discussing the Mondoweiss article is a full day older, I don’t understand where you are coming from.
- Comment on [Opinion] In Gaza, Disease and Illness Are Hidden Horrors of Genocide 4 days ago:
There isn’t original source per se
If you would rather post the Truthout version that is fine, but the original article for this article spefically is the Mondoweiss one, it is the original source and was submitted there by the author, it is simply redistributed by Truthout. I don’t know what you think redistribution is at that point if you think there is an original source.
- Comment on [Opinion] In Gaza, Disease and Illness Are Hidden Horrors of Genocide 4 days ago:
This piece was reprinted by Truthout with permission or license. It may not be reproduced in any form without permission or license from the source.
It says this at the bottom fo the article. They just reprint articles from sources cool with them doing that.
- Comment on USA | Air traffic control staffing 'not normal' during DC crash - officials 4 days ago:
history.com/…/reagan-fires-11359-air-traffic-cont…
On August 5, an angry President Reagan carried out his threat, and the federal government began firing the 11,359 air-traffic controllers who had not returned to work. In addition, he declared a lifetime ban on the rehiring of the strikers by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). On August 17, the FAA began accepting applications for new air-traffic controllers, and on October 22 the Federal Labor Relations Authority decertified PATCO.
This is the finding out part when you do the fucking around.
- Comment on [Opinion] In Gaza, Disease and Illness Are Hidden Horrors of Genocide 4 days ago:
Just letting you know because you probably care about this thing, this article was originally from Mondoweiss, in an effort to avoid reposting I would probably just use the original source over Truthout, when it is an article recirculated by them, I posted this like 10 minutes before you with the Mondoweiss article.

- Comment on China Unveils Comically Gigantic 85-Foot Electric Bus 4 days ago:
Have you tried having reading comprehension
The bus is set to roll out in Mexico
God forbid something rolls out in another country because of some deal, surely Chinese ev bus manufacturer will never make a bus for China, and the same car centric cities applies in response to " what’s wrong with trains". And obviously something that rolls out in one place was only designed for that place, obviously.
- Comment on China Unveils Comically Gigantic 85-Foot Electric Bus 5 days ago:
More or less that much like most of the rest of the world they copied car centric American cities and changing that would cost huge amounts of money compared to making buses and trams. And they do have trains also.

- Comment on 'Hell on earth': Deportation looms for Uyghurs held in Thailand 2 weeks ago:
Given the info in this article I imagine it’s both Turkey and Thailand keeping them in limbo, Erdogan probably does not want to provoke China either and simply would prefer to keep them in limbo.
- Comment on 'Hell on earth': Deportation looms for Uyghurs held in Thailand 2 weeks ago:
If Erdogan wouldn’t take these people in the case they were kicked out of Thailand he is not a serious politician. Forget Neo-Ottomanism if you can’t handle a couple dozen Turkic refugees.

iPhone USB-C is hackable, but users don’t need to worry yet
Fear mongering that tells you not to worry
Security researcher Thomas Roth recently uncovered several vulnerabilities in Apple’s ACE3 USB-C controller for the iPhone 15 and 16.
misattributing by specifically saying it is Apple’s controller
A+ great comment, keep it up!

If he was, he would never have gone to somewhere the EU/US could have gotten him, probably so rich was just delusional about international treaties, thought he could live the high life in Paris and also do whatever he wanted.
