And there’s even a cameo from Initial D! Unless I’m mistaken, it’s Koichiro Iketani and Kenji from the Akina Speedsters as well as Itsuki Takeuchi! I even freeze-framed on their name badges to confirm.

It’s not even a gas station, electric cars are sitting there charging.
Street racing is not a profession. Not everyone can turn pro.
Hey, and someone has to work the menial jobs, even in Japan. At least they get to hang around cars all day, which is their passion.
I knew movie theater employees who worked there into their 50s, because they liked movies and could watch for free.

Oh yeah, nothing against him working at the gas station. But we see all these other Initial D characters doing different things and there he still working the same job he had in Initial D. I wouldnt be surprised to find out it’s the same station. he’s got a wife and kids now and he’s definitely happy there.
