  I find it wierd the anime got named “Journeys End” when the manga is literally called “Frieren the Slayer”:

    The manga being called “frieren the slayer” is a bit of spoiler. It was really chilling how the name “frieren the slayer” was revealed in the anime. It was definetly my favourite scene in the anime

    It’s a double meaning, it doesn’t just mean “The Slayer”, it also means to send someone off or to end something (not specifically a life).

    If they just named it “The elf that goes around massacring demons” it wouldn’t have quite as much shock value when it turns out that’s what she’s spent the last thousand years training to do.
