he remastered versions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 are set to release on December 10, 2024, bringing these beloved dark fantasy action-adventure games back with significant updates for modern platforms.
Glad to hear it, modern updates are always welcome. I played the first on dreamcast back in the day, I remember it having some good action.
Maybe I’ll try them as I never got to try them back in the day but had a friend that loved them.
Cool we’re getting this. I played the demo a bit on Dreamcast and haven’t really gone back. A lot of early 3D games don’t hold up well by modern standards so it’s good to see we’re getting updates like this.

I got the original on Steam a while back because I was craving to play it again, and I couldn’t even really stomach my way through the whole tutorial segment because hoo boy the controls were dated. That’s the main reason I am looking forward to these; tighten up the controls to be modern, now that we’ve actually figured them out for 3D environments lol
