Lemmy is irrelevent and has zero influence. Both Lemmy and Mastodon is run by cult leaders. If the platforms actually want any influence, or to at least be something more than a dumping grouping or a platform to mock, they must protecting offensive words.
It’s clear that the LemmyMastodon admins cannot live in the real world and have no functioning social skills when they are out in public, so they depend on nonexistant cyberspace to save them from mean words and save them from people who disagree with what they believe.

Dude, it’s crazy. I legit got banned from .midwest instance and the reason listed was “conservative.” And what’s hilarious about that is that I’m a socialist!
But because I didn’t worship Harris, I was banned from that and other instances. Fucking hilarious that this is happening right now! lol
