Thanks! The sub is pretty bare because I just can’t find much on Libertarian Socialism. But I have it there so when I do occasionally run across something, I throw it in there. :)

Well actually…
I’m a Libertarian Socialist. So trust me, I’m all about a lot of Libertarian values. I even created a sub called Libertarian Socialst. But since most people don’t know about Libertarian stuff, I just shorthand it and go with Socialist when describing myself.
I actually grew up in the town that started the Libertarian Party. :)

I am socialist.
I don’t write the articles, friend. You don’t have to read them. Posting something I find interesting doesn’t mean I subscribe to all the points of view in an article.
If you find there is something troubling in the article, please reach out to the people who write it.
I guess a block is overdue
Sounds like it is. You should definitely block me. Because I’m not gonna stop posting. I’ll post whatever I want, whenever I want, wherever I want.
Thanks, friend! :)

And what would that narrative be?
Because I can’t control, nor do I care to control, the narrative that someone feels when they read a news article.
I didn’t write the article. A MUCH bigger and more popular website than Lemmy published it.
Heck, I didn’t even post the contents of the article. Just the title and the link.
What people think is on them, not up to me.
Thanks, friend!

But I don’t care about the irony. I wasn’t making a point. I posted cuz I found it interesting. That’s it.
Thanks, friend!

But that means nothing to me because I’m not a nazi. I’ve never even done anything nazi-like. So I don’t know what you’re going on about.

Up to the FBI and secret service. I did my part… I reported

Calling for his murder, or anyone else’s, makes you a crap person though.
It IS democracy. He got voted in. Cry all you want. He’s gonna be our president for a while.
- Comment on In Trump's 2nd Term, Reddit Takes Turn Toward Violent Extremism 1 week ago:
So you are accusing me of being a nazi (tho I’m bisexual and biracial) just because I refuse to let you guys threaten the president?
Nah, fuck that. I’m stoked that I contacted the FBI. Even more stoked that they called me back.
Lemmy is on their radar. And I’m glad to have done my part.
Thanks, comrade.
- Comment on In Trump's 2nd Term, Reddit Takes Turn Toward Violent Extremism 1 week ago:
Yep, agreed. I DO think most of it is keyboard warriors LARPing.
But some were severe enough that I reported to FBI and secret service hotline
- Comment on Reddit Sub Ban Wave 1 week ago:
Agreed! World instance is as bad as Reddit
- Comment on In Trump's 2nd Term, Reddit Takes Turn Toward Violent Extremism 1 week ago:
Lemmy’s going this direction as well. In fact, I personally reported some links and communities to the FBI tip hotline.
And they called me back and we discussed it. I know a lot of Lemmy isn’t US-based, but a lot of users are. Especially the ones I reported.
I don’t give a fuck how mad about shit that Lemmy is, calling for murder, armed revolution, and saying “Let’s Luigi him!” is bullshit and should be stopped.
So just in case anyone missed it, and they wanna be even more pissed at me: I reported some Lemmy communities and posts to the FBI tipline.
No regrets.

So you don’t think it’s true. You don’t think that a large number of fed workers have accepted Trump’s buyout and will resign?

This from the poster who claimed to be a socialist during the campaign…
Hey, remember when you all falsely accused me of being a Russian agent? Remember when you all said I’d disappear after the election?
Remember when I was banned for posting a Newsweek article that CORRECTLY said Trump was rising in the polls?
Remember when you all attacked me for saying that Harris wasn’t a good candidate?
This is what you all get for spending more time trying to censor critics, than trying to get good candidates.
You lost to Trump. Of all people, Trump!!
I’m very proud of my third party socialist vote. 😊
- Comment on Exclusive-Musk Aides Lock Government Workers Out of Computer Systems at US Agency 1 week ago:
But it is a choice. They can also quit.
I didn’t vote for Trump. I voted socialist. And I’m still a socialist.
But I’m totally enjoying watching the dumpster fire you all created for yourselves by disregarding third parties and third-party supporters like me.
Maybe if you allowed third parties to have a voice, the US wouldn’t have been stuck with the same old stale corrupt Duopoly.
How’d that decision workout for ya? 😊

It’s really sort of astonishing sometimes how complete your lack of integrity is.
Thanks, I appreciate that you think I’m astonishing!
Like, for instance, if someone were to walk up to you on the street and say, “You can either give me all your money or I’ll beat you up and take it from you,” and you were to then give them your money, that would somehow not count as a robbery since you “accepted” their “offer”?
Equating someone volutnerally accepting severance to a robbery is hilarious. And rediculous.
The comparison you’ve drawn between accepting a severance package and being robbed under threat of violence is hilarious and misleading. lol
A severance package is contractual and consensual. It’s an offer made by an employer to an employee that includes benefits the employee is not automatically entitled to, in exchange for certain things like waiving the right to sue or agreeing to a non-compete clause.
Employees have the choice to accept or decline based on their assessment of their personal and financial situation—there is no coercion involved. Unlike your silly robbery example.
Robbery is a clear act of coercion and threat, where consent is not truly given but forced under duress. The “choice” to give up your money to avoid physical harm isn’t a choice at all—it’s an act of self-preservation under immediate threat. Comparing the violent compulsion of a robbery to the corporate terms of a severance is not only a false equivalence but trivializes the serious and violent nature of actual robberies.
Your analogy conflates coercion with lawful employment practices. Maybe you outta stick with the reality of situations without resorting to exaggerated comparisons.
I get it: you’re made that Trump won. Get over it. These people don’t have to fucking work for the government. It’s not slavery. It’s not robbery.
People like you make me soooo happy that Trump won. You legit have no idea how the world works outside of tech jobs. lol

Why do you think your information on Lemmy will be taken down? Have you been posting anything advocating violence or anything illegal?

I’ll admit, it’s nice to be referred to as “astonishing,” but I legit don’t know what you are referring to here?
Do you think what I said was in error? Do you honestly think that federal workers are going to engage in a coup? Friend, come on now…

I’m seeing the term “reactionary” more and more on Lemmy.
Can you (or anybody else) define the term and what in means in context here? Is it just someone who reacts too much, or is it another term for conservative? I’m not sure how it’s being used here.
Thank you!

Looks to me as if an active coup is currently under way.
No, people are all talk. Very few people wanna do anything uncomfortable. Not only that, fed workers get paid good and have amazing benefits. They’ll bitch and moan, but very few will do anything drastic.
