The label says “Schefflera”.
- 4/5 for sunlight
- 2.5/5 for water
- 5-25 for temperature
- Moderate for fertilizer
After I brought it home, I see that some of the leaves are turning dark and falling off. I don’t know why.
Thank you in advance

Maybe it got cold on the way home or reacts to the change of light / temperature between the store and your place. I would recommend to not water it too much and don’t use too much fertilizer. I have one that already survives for more than 10 years and it’s still pretty healthy despite that I don’t pamper it at all.
Well, make sure it’s getting plenty sun and little water.

The number one killer of indoor plants is over watering. Wait for the leaves to wilt before watering.
I don’t know much about this particular plant but judging by the dark leaves, it probably doesn’t need as much light as the label says. Put it in a corner of a room that gets light, but not right in front of it.
Once a week, move the plant closer to the window and see if that helps it perk up.
