Loved this season. After a neat ending with Zoku Owari, and despite a pretty big change in the status quo and setting, it still managed to maintain its vibe and storytelling. I feel like many stories tend to fall off if something similar happened. I guess that’s a plus of actually putting time into your side-characters before finishing the main story.
I was happy to see Shinobu and Araragi back for the final arc though. Though it wasn’t needed, Shinobu’s origins were very cool and fitting. Suicide Master was a great addition too.
Kagenui coming back this ep and making swift work of Kie was great.
I hope to see more again.
