If I can add a “no stupid questions” question in a comment: is PieFed just another ActivityPub service that operates similar to Lemmy/kBin/mBin, or is it that but designed to run on your own Raspberry Pi? I tried searching online expecting results like the latter but it seems more like the former.
PieFed is asking me to import my topics/instances from lemmy how do I do that?

Just another ActivityPub service, I believe the name is related to it being written in Python

On lemmy, accessing it through the website, click on your username in the top-right, and choose 'settings'. On that page, choose Export in the 'Import/Export Settings' section. This will give you a file to save to your computer.
On piefed, go to Account->Edit profile & settings, and use the 'Import' button to choose the file you just saved.
This will import your followed communities and blocked users.

Hehe, I went through about 120 communities and subscribed to them manually because I didn't realize there was such a functionality ^^.
