MarianHellema@mastodon.nlIdra Novey - Ways to disappear (2016)
I got this book at random from my library and it was wonderful!
A writer from Brazil climbs into a tree and then disappears. Her American translator tries to find her, which is complicated by the efforts of her daughter and son. There is also some criminal trying to get money.
The story is told in short chapters, funny, surprising, entertaining and beautifully written.
