Originally released in arcades in 1989, the pre-Neo Geo game is, for the most part, a horizontally scrolling shooter that lets players explore five different environments in and around Greenhell Island, the game’s mysterious setting that has been frozen in time. This includes verdant forests patrolled by angry cavemen, pterodactyl-infested skies, deadly caves, shark-infested oceans, and the island’s volcanic core.
