I've finished: Welcome to The Deep Estate by Kevin Kane

If you like John Dies at the End, you'll probably like The Deep Estate.

It plays with a similar mix of horror, humor and teenage mischief.

The Audiobook narrator: Christopher Harbour, won the 2026 Narrator of Distinction Award from: The Professional Audiobook Narrators Association for his work on this novel.

Note that this is definitely part of at least a duology.

For Audible members, at least at this time, the first part is in the Plus catalogue.
