brian@beige.party@beige.partyI’m sure many of you already know of the brilliant Swan River Press, based in Dublin. Its output is “dedicated exclusively to the literature of the fantastic” and “guided by a passion for works of the supernatural and strange.”
Run single-handedly by the indefatigable Brian J. Showers, the press’s books are always striking, produced with the kind of attention to detail and care which seems to be increasingly rare. They also publish work by an encouragingly large roster of women writers, both historical and current (some of the latter are Joyce Carol Oates, Rosalie Parker, Lynda E. Rucker and Helen Grant).
Highly recommended if you’re at all interested in the literature of the strange, gothic and supernatural fiction ,and uncanny writing of all descriptions.
