I've finished: Dark Reading Matter by Jasper Fforde

This final installment in the Thursday Next series was a long time coming. It was very different from what I expected. It is not set within the Dark Reading Matter.

But no matter, it is satisfactory in its own over the top way.

Fforde goes completely meta, breaking so many walls I lost count.

There is allot of fan service with the return of many favorite characters, vignettes into the authors own struggle, finishing the TN 8 and jokes at his expense.

But foremost this is Fforde's attempt to tackle the LLM crisis in the literary world.
