One thing I am confused about is: when did Elinalise have Sylphy’s father / mother? After the memory loss, right?
What were the circumstances back then? Or is this approaching spoiler territory?

Just like now she had to have sex and occasionally she got pregnant and gave birth. There wasn’t anything especially notable about Sylphys father, Elinalise just doesn’t want her behavior to reflect badly on her children, or grandchildren so she doesn’t stick around or visit them.
