Artyom@lemm.ee 2 months agoWe privatized space travel, so now corner-cutting megacorp get to make sloppy decisions that risk people’s lives. Now, we have hard proof that it doesn’t matter how bad you fuck up either, because the government will just pay double the price to fix it for you, and the megacorps escape unscathed. Meanwhile these astronauts are stuck in space and their lives are on the line.

Of course last time when only the government would take the blame they sent the astronauts to their deaths. This time they have a scapegoats and an alternative.
