Didn’t Japan have some success in breaking up socioeconomic hierarchies in schools by forcing everyone to wear the same uniforms and take on the same cleaning responsibilities no matter who your parents were? It would be amazing if public schools and secondary educational institutions enforced similar constraints inhibiting social stratification that otherwise limits the candidate pool for leaders to close relatives of the ultra wealthy.
