Comment on I played 4 shooters for the DS and 3DS... My reviews (Moon, COD4, C.O.R.E., Ironfall)

I played CoD 4 on the DS back in the day as well! Agreed the double tap iron sights were terrible, but I was surprised at how much they preserved the setpieces of the game.

Have you played Metroid Prime Hunters? Thats probably my favorite shooter from the DS area. The single player campaign can be backtrack-heavy with no real plot, but the shooting is fun and the multilayer mode with bots is a really good time!

And we can still play online thanks to Wiimmfi, so that would always be the best experience!

Not yet, it’s on my list.

COD4 surprised me a lot. I’m still pretty new to the whole DS/3DS thing, a bunch of games haven’t really impressed me, I’ve never played a DS shooter before Moon, which let me down…

So I expected COD to be trash, especially due to the reputation of tie-in games, and that nobody ever talks about it. Only Scott the Woz has made a video about COD on DS, basically saying “it’s fine but why bother?”. Now I’m curious about more tie-in games.
