It likely would fit most of the requirements, but I would argue hunter-gathers recognize private property. An individual’s tools might be called a means of production, and a tribe’s territory might be called owned land if they restrict others from accessing it. Communism usually expects something approaching a post-scarcity society to avoid competition over resources.
