I actually love going to REI. Super helpful and cool place. Microcenter is ok, I only get 3D printer filament there and they also do price matching so if you find the same thing on amazon or somewhere cheaper, they’ll match the price.

another reason brick and mortars are fucked. weird how ordering online and waiting 2 days is infinitely less annoying than driving to a store, finding the thing you went there for locked up, and fetching a wage slave to open the glass case for socks. after he’s done helping the 5 people in front of you
