dyathinkhesaurus@lemmy.world 4 months agoThere was a scifi short story from some time ago, wish I could remember the name, where one of them woke up, and realised all the others he’d signed up with, in the cryo chambers around him, had all been harvested for organs and body parts.

Transmetropolitan also has a chapter about this where they would wake up in a cyberpunk dystopia and it would break their mind, leaving them catatonic.
