Man, if I didn’t know the context of this series coming to an early end, then I would be confused as hell. In the end, this fiancee served little purpose other than to tell Taiyou to go confess. At least with Hiiragi, she is being pushed by the friends that we have spent time getting to know and have grown closer to her. It doesn’t feel as out of place on her side of things.
