Comment on Is it possible to tell Jellyfin to search also the original name?

I agree with OP, there needs to be an option to search both original title, translated title and maybe even descriptions.

I’m not saying this is the fix. This is a debugging step to see what the issue is if it’s not sourcing the local metadata.
