The LubeLogger meltdown ticket is pretty goddamn funny.
I know nothing of the full conversation, but I read the"meltdown". I sort of sided with the melt down guy. Everything he said there was reasonable, albeit slightly verbose.
IDGAF about the whole thing so it might just be that the final post was fine, but the rest was not :shrug:
I mean, I’ve run across badly documented FOSS apps as well, but if I submit a correction, I don’t wrap up my ego in whether they take it or not.
If it’s been open for more than a week or two, I just delete it so it isn’t hanging around my feed. No worries, if that’s how you want to run your project it’s no skin off my nose.
But what kinda dweeb goes off on it in a Reddit post?
See, this is why I’d never publish an app. I have long since lost my patience.
This issue that only I have is proof of bad programming practices being used in LubeLogger and I demand you treat me like the special snowflake I am!

I mean…I just don’t understand the disconnect. Dev toils and sweats over a app. Dev gives it away for free as opensource. User: @#$%@$$# <insert foot stomping and pouty lip> Fuck that noise.
